people who help us

Recently the children and young people at BASIS have explored the topics People who help us and transport. We have looked at the different jobs and responsibilities of people within the community.
We have explored dentists, doctors, and firefighters (to name a few) through engaging, interactive activities such as brushing play sets of teeth with shaving foam and putting out paint fires with spray bottles. Our children and young people have also discussed the people in their lives who help and support them, such as their families and teachers.
The children and young people have enjoyed painting with cars, vehicle junk modelling, and making car washes. We have also held discussions around the importance of road safety, including how to identify and the meaning of different road signs.
