What ARC offers?
ARC offers an enhanced programme of social communication and therapeutic learning activities delivered by an experienced team of ARC staff for Children and Young People (CYP) between the ages of 4 and 19. These will be CYP with a core difficulty around social communication and interaction (SCID), who may or may not have a diagnosis of Autism. The CYP may be on a reduced timetable, undergoing gradual integration/re-integration to school. The CYP may find accessing or functioning in lessons tricky, or perhaps at risk of exclusion. Our aim is to support schools in the ability to meet the CYP’s needs and positively work on maintaining a successful learning placement.
